Project outline:
Our client had a renovation done with another contractor last year that did not go according to plan. The furnace was oversized for the space and as a result was very loud and "short cycled". The clients decided to have the whole furnace system redone. We came highly recommended by a builder that we work with.

We moved the furnace for him to another location under the stairs and changed some ducting around to create more living space in his basement. The new furnace is now properly sized for the home with enough return air to allow proper circulation. The ECM variable speed furnace allows continous circulation of the air through the high efficiency filtration system while lowering the energy bills.

Due to our client's unique medical condition, the temperature as well as the air quality in this home has to remain at a crucial level at all times. We worked closely together with the builder and the home owner on creating a customized system to provide the highest level of comfort.

Project outline:

- One of our new builders approached us to fix the HRV system in this one year old house installed by another contractor. The inhabitants were complaining of excess noise and were having difficulty sleeping as a result. We proposed a new HRV system that was properly sized for the home and relocated away from the bedrooms. The system is now much quieter with the proper number of air changes per hour.
